Healthwatch Stockport Information Officer
Fixed term 31st March 2019 (16 hours per week) [£15,375 - £15807 pro rata]
We are seeking an enthusiastic, community focused part time Information Officer to undertake a range of activities across Stockport. These will include being a welcoming face for visitors to our offices, engaging people in local communities, working with Healthwatch volunteer members, providing information & signposting, gathering and interpreting information from a range of sources and some administrative tasks the role will provide opportunities to help local people to have their voices heard through the changes that lie ahead in health and social care.

Healthwatch Stockport Communications and Engagement Officer (Maternity Cover)
12 months (21 hours per week) [£20,138-£21,962 pro rata]
Healthwatch Stockport is looking for a part time Communications and Engagement Officer to cover maternity and support the work of the Healthwatch Stockport Staff Team. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator to a range of different stakeholders and will ensure Healthwatch Stockport has a visible presence in a range of settings. They will be responsible for producing regular newsletters, bulletins and reports, updating the website and planning events. They will have a positive approach to networking and new ways of delivering effective communication. Must be able to demonstrate skills in Microsoft publisher, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of social media and website maintenance.

Healthwatch Stockport Sessional Engagement Workers
From time to time Healthwatch Stockport requires additional engagement workers to help with a new piece of work or help with a surge in demand for engagement opportunities. Healthwatch Stockport are looking to recruit a pool of experienced sessional workers to work alongside our members and staff team to engage with various members of our local communities. This could be undertaking focus groups, talking to new groups, helping people with questionnaires, telephone interviews etc.] This role is an as required post with ad hoc hours and would suit as self employed person. the role could entail flexibility of working in working unusual hours [evening or weekend work]. We currently have hours available to start immediately.
