Share your experiences of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Have you tried to access Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), or are you the parent or carer of someone who has?

We want to hear from you if you've tried to access CAMHS in the last two years. Please read on to find out more about Healthwatch Stockport's two CAMHS forums, taking place this month, and the surveys that Healthwatch Greater Manchester are running.

Children's Mental Health as one of the Priorities

Healthwatch Greater Manchester......

"Healthwatch in Greater Manchester (GM) have identified children’s mental health as one of its joint GM priorities working alongside the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board. Working with Healthwatch Stockport we are committed to ensuring Stockport voices are heard as part of this work.

We know there are long waiting times for young people to be seen and we want to investigate how this is affecting families, we want to understand your experience of understanding pathways, accessing interim support and communication with services.  We want to hear your experience, whether you are a young person or a parent or carer of someone who has tried to access CAMHS in the last rwo years".

The findings from across Greater Manchester will form a report that will be taken to the GM Integrated Care Board for Action. It will help influence decisions being made to improve access to health and care services.
