Enter and View Training - 05/02/20

We are looking for new volunteer recruits to be part of our dynamic enter and view team at Healthwatch Stockport

Are you passionate about the care being provided in our local hospitals, care homes, GP Practices, dentists, pharmacists, opticians etc? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you like working in a team?

Then being an Enter & View Team member could be for you!

Our Enter & View Team has powers to enter places of care and observe the care being delivered. They also have the opportunity to engage with patients, staff and carers.

Training will cover:

• What is Healthwatch Stockport?
• The legal stuff – what our powers are in relation to Enter & View
• The role of the Enter & View team in Healthwatch Stockport
• The health and care services that you could visit
• Work through examples and scenarios when carrying out Enter & View visits  

If suitable you will be given training and support from the Healthwatch Stockport core team.

This provides a great opportunity for someone who is retired and equally for people who would like to enhance their CV

Make a difference to the lives of people in Stockport who use health and social care services

We will work through scenarios and examples of issues that might come up when being part of Enter & View and how to deal with them

Time needed / commitment from volunteers – As little or as much as you like, typically we carry out a series of Enter & View visits every 3-4 months.
