Pop-Up Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics in Stockport Next Week

There are two more pop-up vaccination clinics taking place in Stockport next week. It’s a good opportunity for anyone aged 12 or over and eligible, to go along and get up-to-date with their Covid-19 vaccinations before Christmas.

There are two more pop-up vaccination clinics taking place in Stockport next week. It’s a good opportunity for anyone aged 12 or over and eligible, to go along and get up-to-date with their Covid-19 vaccinations before Christmas. No appointment is required, just walk-in.

This latest vaccination offer has been organised by NHS Greater Manchester - Stockport Locality and Stockport Council. The clinics have been arranged to give residents a convenient place to get vaccinated and stay protected from Covid-19.

These pop-ups are in addition to the autumn Covid-19 booster clinics at One Stockport Hub, Mersey Square, Stockport, SK1 1RA, and Trinity Methodist Church, 351 Bramhall Lane, Bramhall, SK3 8TP. For full details visit www.stockport.gov.uk/showcase/coronavirus.

Covid-19 vaccination clinics next week:

Wednesday, 7 December, 9.30am – 2.30pm

Marple Senior Citizens Association, Memorial Park, Marple, SK6 6BA

Thursday, 8 December, 9.30am – 2.30pm Reddish Pavilion John Hargreaves, North Reddish Park, Longford Rd West, Reddish, SK5 6ET.

 

Jen Connolly, Director of Public Health at Stockport Council said:

“Covid is still here and with Christmas approaching, people will be spending more time socialising indoors. Make sure you stay up-to-date with your vaccines for the best possible protection and to keep yourself and others safe.”

Councillor Keith Holloway, Stockport Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, added:

“With more choices of where to get your vaccination available in convenient locations around the borough, and as we move into the seasonal virus months, please help to protect yourself, family and friends by getting the winter Covid-19 booster. It’s also never too late to get a vaccination if you’ve missed any previously.”
