Get on Board with capped weekly bus tickets

Choosing the bus to commute to work is now simpler and more affordable with the introduction of capped weekly bus tickets. A week of unlimited bus travel in Greater Manchester now costs £21 for adults.

The introduction of weekly capping is a further step towards a simpler fares structure for Greater Manchester that will integrate bus and tram travel by 2025, with rail services included by 2030.

Lower bus fares were introduced in Greater Manchester in September 2022, with single journeys capped at £2 for adults and £1 for children. A day of unlimited travel using any bus is capped at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.

Individual bus operators may provide their own weekly bus ticket but only the 7 Day AnyBus Adult or Junior travelcard will allow you to travel all week with any operator within Greater Manchester.

You must have an ITSO smart card to load the travelcard on to – adults will need a get me there card or equivalent (Stagecoach Smart card for instance).
