One Stockport Hub vaccination clinic, Mersey Square, Stockport, SK1 1RA will be open this Saturday, 4 February, and Saturday, 11 February, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. No booking required, just walk-in. After this date it will be closed until further notice.

This latest pop-up clinic, organised by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care and Stockport Council, is also offering the free flu jab to those who are eligible.

For those who cannot make it on a Saturday, local pharmacies across Stockport are also offering vaccinations, bookable via the National Booking Service at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination.

After Sunday, 12 February, special arrangements will be put in place for people who are at extreme clinical risk from Covid-19 and require a vaccination.

Jennifer Connolly, Director of Public Health for Stockport, said

"Now is the time for anyone 50 or over to get the winter booster before the national programme pauses. It’s also not too late for anyone who still needs a first, second or first booster vaccination to come forward.

“Vaccination is the best protection against serious illness especially older people and those with a weakened immune system.”

Find out if you’re eligible for a vaccination and see Stockport’s vaccination clinics on Stockport Council’s website at www.stockport.gov.uk/vaccinations or by following @StockportMBC on Facebook or Twitter.
