Survey extended till Friday 17th July 2020

We want to hear your views

We know that in Stockport, the Covid-19 outbreak has affected everyone in so many different ways, and we are all in a very difficult time at present.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we have all been asked to Stay at Home, Save Lives, and Protect the NHS.

The following short survey will help us understand how people are coping with the situation and also gather information regarding what YOU think could make the situation easier to live with.

Healthwatch Stockport would like to hear how it has affected you, in any aspect of your life that you wish to share with us both good and not so good.

We want no one left behind

We especially need to know about the impact it is having on individuals and communities with protected characteristics, such as BAME, LGBTQ+, long term conditions, learning disabilities etc.

Please help us to amplify your voice and make sure no-one is left behind. For this reason we have asked a few demographic questions at the end to ensure that everyone is heard.

Have Your Say

We would like to hear about things that are working well as well as things that could improve lives. We also would like to hear any ideas you may have that could be shared with the wider community.

This could be how it affected your mental well-being, how your relationships changed with your friends and family, what circumstances changed to make you do things differently, how did you cope with accessing your usual services, how have you adapted to a different way of life. What fears do you have and what are you looking forward to for the weeks and months ahead.  What services or activities do you miss most that you usually use.

Reporting our findings

We will present the anonymised findings from the experiences you share with us to Stockport's health and social care services [Stockport Council, Stockport CCG and Public Health Stockport and voluntary and community services]. They will then combine this with other sources of information and adapt services to better suit the needs of the Stockport Community.

We are working in partnership with all local Healthwatch across Greater Manchester. It would be great if you could circulate amongst your friends, family and colleagues.

Close date: 17th July 2020

Thank you for your time and please stay safe and protect the NHS by STAYING AT HOME.
