Acorn Recovery Projects help individuals and their families to break free from drug, alcohol and other addictions by finding, not just immediate recovery, but emotional, social, lifelong recovery.
Acorn Recovery's success comes from their staff, 85% of whom, at all levels within the organisation, have ‘lived experience’ of recovery.
Acorn will support you throughout your recovery offering motivational programmes to support you and your families, community support, private counselling, rehabilitation treatment and housing options.

The Rehab Clinics Group
The Rehab Clinics Group in Stockport offers recovery programmes to those suffering with substance abuse and alcoholism.
The team offer a residential rehab programme, addiction treatments such as detox, counselling and therapies, support groups and a post rehab support clinic service. These services along with the helplines enable individuals, communities and families to achieve freedom from addiction.

FRANK (CGL Stockport)
CGL Stockport is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults aged 26+. The team offer a wide range of support for people who need help to address alcohol and drug use and are likely to need short term support or treatment. This may be a one off intervention or several sessions with a worker either individually or as part of a group.
They also offer recovery support to achieve and maintain their goals, enabling them to make lasting, meaningful changes to their lives.

Mosaic (young people’s substance misuse service)
NHS SERVICE
Mosaic offer free, confidential support service for people 25 and under who need help with drug or alcohol issues or to cope with parents who misuse substances.
Some of the different services that MOSAIC provide are Counselling, substitute prescriptions, complementary therapies (massage, reflexology and acupuncture), confidential support in schools to help young people speak freely, support for young people and adults worried about a friend or relative’s substance use. MOSAIC’s services can help young people change their behaviour, thinking and in many cases their lives.

Pathfinder
Pathfinder Stockport is provided by Pennine Care NHS Trust. The service helps adults aged 26 and over to set goals to successfully recover from drug and alcohol misuse.
They offer one-to-one support and workshop programmes to help you progress in your recovery. Pathfinder also offer family and carer support, provide community-based and facilitate in patient detoxification programmes and access residential rehabilitation. Their lifestyle workshops are co-facilitated by volunteers and peer mentors (most of whom are ex-service users).
Pathfinder can also support you with any physical health challenges. Their clinical team provide blood borne virus screening, especially for HIV and hepatitis C, co-ordinate a weekly hepatitis C treatment clinic, delivering and supporting you through the full treatment programme.
