Deaf Rainbow

Deaf Rainbow UK provide information and resources for the Deaf LGBTIQA+ community. As we all know, the LGBTIQA+ community have endured oppression and harassment for years, and still do. Deaf LGBTIQA+ people are an even smaller minority with an added layer of audism; this lead to the Deaf LGBTIQA+ UK Facebook group, which is still running. A whole bunch of Deaf LGBTIQA+ people got together, and created a website especially. Should you need advice around parenting, surrogacy, your mental health, sexual health or your own sexuality, the team are there to support you.

Forward LGBT+

Forward – Stockport LGBT+ Centre is a dedicated safe space for  LGBT+ folks, family and friends, to meet, participate and share with the wider community. The team offer a helpline to should you need a friendly chat, food and essentials, counselling support, sexual health advice, or more information and guidance around housing, finances and employment.

LGBT Foundation

LGBT Foundation is a national charity offering advice, support and information services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities. They support LGBT people to increase skills, knowledge and self-confidence, maintain wellbeing and live a safe, secure and healthy life through a range of services. Those include support groups; face-to-face counselling; a helpline, email and pop-in service; a befriending scheme; a sexual health programme, a range of guides and resources and much more.

Support services are delivered by a team of staff and volunteers. So whether it's relationships, gender identity, coming out, family issues, knowing your legal rights, reporting a hate crime, or you just need someone to talk to- get in touch. The Proud Trust

If you feel scared, unsure, depressed, worried about coming out, or if you just want to know a bit more about gender or sexuality, The Proud Trust can help you.

The Proud Trust is a life-saving and life enhancing organisation that helps LGBT+ young people to feel empowered, to make a positive change for themselves and their communities. They do this through youth groups, coordinating national and regional LGBT+ youth work networks, managing the LGBT+ Centre for Manchester, delivering training, running events and campaigns, undertaking research and creating lots of helpful resources.
