Healthwatch Stockport is deeply concerned and disappointed by Saturday’s Government announcement that Healthwatch, the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in England, is to be closed. Healthwatch England and Local Healthwatch across the country will be affected by this national decision.
Learning Disability Week running from Monday 16 June, is an annual campaign to ensure people with a learning disability are seen, heard, and valued. This year's national theme is 'Do you see me?', highlighting the importance of their inclusion in all aspects of life, here in Stockport.
